Registration Requirements and Information
Entrance Requirements
- Students must be 19 years of age or older (some exceptions apply)
- Students must have sufficient proficiency of the English language for successful study of senior high courses. (Minimum Benchmark level 7 in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening required.)
- Students must take an English and Math assessment.
Graduation Requirements
- Mature Students require eight senior high school credits to graduate.
- Four of these credits must be at Grade 12 level and must include one English and one Math credit.
- The remaining credits can be selected from option courses offered such as: Computers, Drama, Psychology, Family Studies, Law, Biology, Cooperative Education and World Issues.
Previous Credits and Prior Learning Recognition
- Students may qualify to have all high school courses from Grade 9 to Grade 12 assessed for credit.
- Prior Learning Assessment involves recognition and accreditation for learning acquired through formal and informal studies.
All Students are required to:
- Fill in a registration form
- Complete and English and Math Assessment
- Provide transcripts
